I am an art director and graphic designer who offers integrated marketing concepts and designs. As owner of TJD Studio, I create an eclectic style of graphic design catered to helping non-profits and businesses of all sizes provide a unique approach to help them succeed.
As with many industries, the world of graphic design is always changing and innovating. I make it my mission to find new and interesting ways to communicate through the medium of art, but I also bring years of experience and expertise to every project. I specialize in ads, annual reports, brochures, collateral materials, corporate identity, direct mailings, billboard design, calendars, catalogs, posters, newsletters, invitation packages, promotions, sales kits, signage, stationary, logo development, trade show design, web and social media design. Just to name a few.
As an Art Director, it is my job to determine the creative concept, visual style, and the images and artistic elements to use in a variety of projects. I articulate this vision by presenting and communicating ideas to team members and ultimately clients — internal and external. I develop timelines, work within budgets, and lead teams of artists to best produce a solution for a client’s creative opportunity. Furthermore, I engage in multiple art forms such as conceptualizing, designing, constructing custom mockups for review, preparing files for print, and reviewing printer proofs.
As a graphic designer, I solve creative opportunities by the construction of images, typography, photography and color into a space that creates a visual and compelling look which informs, inspires and captivates consumers. My experiences as a graphic designer have equipped me with the skills to be uniquely creative in solving challenging graphic needs for various projects and audiences.
I continually seek inspiration from my peers as I keep up to date in my field of design. Additionally, I have learned much from working closely with clients and other creatives, which I believe has helped me be a more effective, seasoned, and out-of-the-box creative.
